Frequently asked questions.

Where exactly do you play?

We are based in Jackson, Mississippi and primarily serve the Jackson metro area and surrounding towns. If your wedding is more than 30 miles outside of Jackson, we’re happy to travel for an additional fee.

What instruments do you offer?

We offer violin, viola, cello, and piano, and various combinations of those instruments. Please refer to our Services page for the various ensembles we offer.

Do you play for outdoor weddings?

Yes, absolutely! We just request a shady spot out of the sun, and heaters if it’s below a certain temperature. We do not play in the rain because we play wooden instruments, but as long as we have a roof, we’ll play!

Do I get to pick my own music?

Yes! You can request the songs you want played for the ceremony. If you need ideas, we are happy to assist and make suggestions.

Do you come to the wedding rehearsal?

We typically do not come to the wedding rehearsal. If you want us there, we charge an additional $100 fee per musician for the rehearsal.

I have someone singing at the ceremony. Can you play with them?

Yes, we are happy to play with a singer. We will be in touch about obtaining the correct music and will need to arrange a brief rehearsal before the ceremony.

Do you use any amplification?

No, we play acoustic instruments, so amplification is generally not necessary since our instruments carry sound quite well. If you want amplification, the venue or DJ will have to provide it.

Do you provide a piano, or does the venue need to have a piano?

We do not provide a piano/keyboard. If you book piano, the venue must have a piano on site.
